Let’s give this a try… would you fill this up for me?

  1. Who are you?
  2. Are we friends?
  3. When and how did we meet?
  4. Give me a nickname and explain why you picked it.
  5. Describe me in one word.
  6. What was your first impression?
  7. Do you still think that way about me now?
  8. What reminds you of me?
  9. If you could give me anything what would it be?
  10. How well do you know me?
  11. When’s the last time you saw me?
  12. Ever wanted to tell me something but couldn’t?
  13. Are you going to post this in your notes and see what I say about you?

Police sealing the area of the shooting (PD image)

It was really shocking to learn about the shooting in Montreal’s Dawson College. When the title of the BBC story passed on my Firefox RSS ticker and, after clicking on it, I read the word Montreal, the first person I thought of was a dear beautiful friend I have in the City of Saints. Before reading the news and starting the Spanish Wikinews story, I sent her an e-mail, asking her for reply me as long as she could so I ensure she was fine. The hours passed by and, as more details about the shooting showed up, my friend "didn’t give vital signs". I was so worried, even though deep inside I was sure she was fine, because she doesn’t even attend that school.

Why there’s always some psycho who wants to "celebrate" massive murders just because he hates life? This guy, the shooter, had a lot of things… at least, he had access to a PC to write his thoughts. There are countries people can’t even think about it. He had food, and a place to sleep, for sure. But he wasn’t "cool" with his life, so he decided to earn his 15 "posthumous" minutes of fame. Fortunately, he had a bad shot and the police could take him down. It’s so sad and even hideous to say this, but if cops didn’t do that, we would be crying a real massacre. Just one person, a girl, died. Our thoughts are with his family and friends, of course.

Finally, my friend replied me around midnight. I read her message on my cellphone like at 5 a.m. She and some friends have a project, so they finished one part of it at 11 a.m. and were scheduled to meet again at noon in a place near Dawson, but she felt kinda weird, it seems she got a cold, so, because of her "fault", everyone went home, since what they were doing couldn’t go on without her… She was shocked by the news, too, even more than me. "This was not meant to be happening in Montreal", she told me. Can you believe it? Her cold saved her friends, at least from trouble or being around that place. She’s so sweet, and it turns out she’s so blessed too. She’s just great.

In my country, even worse things happen everyday, but Canada is such a great place to live… I’m really glad she’s OK and I hope she gets well soon. Hope things like these didn’t repeat again, but that’s just a nice thought… nothing else…
